Certification

Certification is based on the justified confidence that a product, service, process, system or person complies with an (internationally) agreed standard. In this case it is the standard (published as NTA 8080) for sustainable biomass for energy purposes. Organisations could apply the "NTA 8080 approved" certificate to demonstrate that the biomass they produce, process, trade or use, is sustainable. The process for being granted a certificate is described in the road map.
